Agire politico e libertà dell'Evangelo

Traduzione di tre scritti, tra cui il noto "Reformation als Entscheidung", ove l'autore fa coincidere l'impegno teologico con l'impegno politico,infatti rispondere alla sfida del proprio tempo significa respingere tutti gli attentati alla libertà dell'evangelo. Published in 1933, two of the essays translated and published in this volume, represent an example of strict opposition to the movement of “Deutsche Christen” determined to create a philo-nazist national church. The third essay, published in 1952, is the clear attempt of coping with the problems set, in the second half of the century following the second world war, by the cold war in order to favour the reapproaching of East and West, as it had already done, in “Die Deutschen und wir” of 1945. In these three essays Barth matches the theological commitment with the political commitment, keeping off, definitely, all the attacks against the freedom of the Gospel, whenever their origin.
