Abstract
The problem of solitary-wave propagation in composite elastic material is considered and solved. The linear equations, in the presence of a dispersive propagation law, give rise to nonlinear effects as the breaking-down of the wave into two modes propagating with different phase velocities.File in questo prodotto:
