The book is dedicated to an analysis of the complex semantic tapestry which metaphorical language highlights within Hegel's thought. The essay tackles a more general theoretical issue, that of the philosophical problem of imagination and the metaphorical-figurative discourse. Its foundation is set in an idea of philosophy which does not build hierarchies of articulating human faculties and therefore assigns equal dignity to both the analogical and metaphorical plane and the epistemological-cognitive traditional one.

Abstract
The book is dedicated to an analysis of the complex semantic tapestry which metaphorical language highlights within Hegel's thought. The essay tackles a more general theoretical issue, that of the philosophical problem of imagination and the metaphorical-figurative discourse. Its foundation is set in an idea of philosophy which does not build hierarchies of articulating human faculties and therefore assigns equal dignity to both the analogical and metaphorical plane and the epistemological-cognitive traditional one.File in questo prodotto:
