Foucault brings it up as theme of legitimisation of political thinking and speaks of "biopolitics of the human species", meaning that now Power focuses itself on bodies. This paper tries to answer these questions: in what sense life is or may be a political problem? What is the relation between nature and artifice? How to define today "human nature"? Is it possible to define the human individual as a being with persistent biological characteristics?
