Dedicated pools of assets (in Italian, ‘patrimoni destinati’), introduced by recent company law reforms, offer several opportunities for businesses in order to manage investment and financing policies, but they present some critical aspects with reference to investor protection and financial valuation. After analyzing main risk factors (for businesses and investors) and studied the financial communication for the management of dedicated pools of assets, the work develops some considerations about the valuation of this tools.
