The different response of bulk and powdered iron-based LaFeAsO0.92F0.08 samples has been analysed by measuring the AC susceptibility as function of the temperature, at different AC frequencies. The results show that the grains in the bulk exhibits a pronounced dependence on the frequency which is absent in the grains of the powdered sample and which resembles the behaviour due to the application of AC magnetic fields with increasing amplitudes. A possible mechanism has been suggested for the interpretation of this behaviour in terms of the effect of the AC frequency on the inter-granular electrical loops
