Abstract
A new 5β-steroid disulfate (I), with a unique 4α,9α-ether bridge, was isolated from the ophiuroid O. annulosa, together with the minor related compd. (II) and the known compds. (III and IV). The structures of I and II were deduced mainly from FAB-MS and NMR data. The lowest energy conformation of the desulfated I, obtained by Mol. Mechanics calcns. in the force field MM2, completely agrees with the 1H-NMR data.File in questo prodotto:
