The title compd. I was isolated from E. sepositus and its structure detd. by spectral anal., chem. degrdn., and chem. correlation methods. The structure is of a new type, having both a Δ7,3β,6β-dioxygenated-23-oxosteroidal moiety and a sugar moiety which bridges the C-3 and C-6 atoms of the steroid.
