Towards the middle of XX century, with the works by J.B. Metz and J. Moltmann, was born a "new political theology" different from Carl Schmitt's Politische Theologie. In this sense, then, the philosophy of Ernst Bloch could not possibly be read as an atypical "political theology of hope"?
