Ten new triterpenoid saponins (3-12), along with two known triterpenoid saponins (1,2), were isolated from the aerial parts of Schefflera divaricata Merill (Araliaceae). Their structures were determined by H-1-H-1 correlation spectroscopy (COSY, HOHAHA) and H-1-C-13 heteronuclear correlation (HETCOR, COLOC) NMR experiments, FABMS, and chemical data. The aglycon moieties are oleanolic acid for 1-4 and betulinic acid for 5-12, respectively.

Abstract
Ten new triterpenoid saponins (3-12), along with two known triterpenoid saponins (1,2), were isolated from the aerial parts of Schefflera divaricata Merill (Araliaceae). Their structures were determined by H-1-H-1 correlation spectroscopy (COSY, HOHAHA) and H-1-C-13 heteronuclear correlation (HETCOR, COLOC) NMR experiments, FABMS, and chemical data. The aglycon moieties are oleanolic acid for 1-4 and betulinic acid for 5-12, respectively.File in questo prodotto:
