The paper reports the first chemical study of an European Doriopsilla mollusc. Three new furanosesquiterpenoids, ent- pallescensin-A (2) together with two acetoxy derivatives (5,6), have been characterized. The metabolites are distributed either in the skin of the mollusc or in its hermaphrodite gland where the most abundant component is a mixture of drimane esters (1).
