The gross features of gravitational radiation bathing the Earth from a set of a 330 + 4 PSR have been computed. Particular attention has been paid in evaluating the lower and upper bounds of gravitational wave background, in view of planning GW detection experiments in the frequency range 0.1 Hz - 1 kHz. The analysis seems to indicate that strain sensitivities of the order of 10-26 would allow the detection of several sparse PSR sources.

Abstract
The gross features of gravitational radiation bathing the Earth from a set of a 330 + 4 PSR have been computed. Particular attention has been paid in evaluating the lower and upper bounds of gravitational wave background, in view of planning GW detection experiments in the frequency range 0.1 Hz - 1 kHz. The analysis seems to indicate that strain sensitivities of the order of 10-26 would allow the detection of several sparse PSR sources.File in questo prodotto:
