This paper investigates the conservative behaviour of two-step Runge-Kutta (TSRK) methods and multistep Runge-Kutta methods (MRK) for the numerical integration of Hamiltonian systems. In particular, the attention is focused on the existence of G-symplectic TSRK and MRK methods, according to the denition provided in Butcher's 2008 monograph.

Abstract
This paper investigates the conservative behaviour of two-step Runge-Kutta (TSRK) methods and multistep Runge-Kutta methods (MRK) for the numerical integration of Hamiltonian systems. In particular, the attention is focused on the existence of G-symplectic TSRK and MRK methods, according to the denition provided in Butcher's 2008 monograph.File in questo prodotto:
