The equations of the motion of the superconducting phase difference across a noiseless Josephson junction embedded in a classical LC circuit are described and the dynamical properties of the system are investigated. In particular, a mechanical analog is given for small oscillations of the linearized superconducting phase difference and peculiar aspects of the phase states in the junctions are studied numerically in the nonlinear regime.

Abstract

The equations of the motion of the superconducting phase difference across a noiseless Josephson junction embedded in a classical LC circuit are described and the dynamical properties of the system are investigated.
