Abstract
A finite element is proposed for the dynamic analysis of two dimensional lattice materials. This element is useful for modeling the shear deformability of the micro-beams which compose the unit cells of the lattice materials. The main innovative feature, however, concerns the presence of a micro-structure dependent scale length which allows to consider the size effect that can be highly relevant due to the characteristics of the lattice at the local scale.File in questo prodotto:
