Abstract
After the tragic 9/11 events, as a result of the struggle against international terrorism, it seems that protection of fundamental rights has become questionable, even in countries where those rights were believed to be well established by an old tradition. Balance between national security and civil liberties became again an issue, in result of the adoption of repressive legislation. However, in the United Kingdom the government claim to fight terrorism by substantially trampling fundamental rights and liberties of people was partially cut down by the Courts and the Parliament action.File in questo prodotto:
