Abstract
MLOs were defected by fluorescence and elecetron microscopy (TEM and SEM) and PCR amplification. They were characterized by RFLP analysis of PCR-amplified 16S rRNA gene fragments using AluI restriction digestion endonuclease. Fluorescence and electron microscopy observations revealed the presence of very numerous MLOs in sieve tube elements in diseased plants bur nor in healthy ones. The restriction profile of MLOs recovered from affected planes was typical of aster yellows MLO group. This is the first report on detection of MLOs in wild radish (Raphanus raphanistrum L.).File in questo prodotto:
