This paper addresses the mechanical performance study on epoxy nano-modified adhesives by graphene. The incorporation of graphene inside the epoxy paste used to join the adherents made of unfilled epoxy matrix, leads to an enhancement of joint strength. The experimental results show that the incorporation of graphene inside the epoxy matrix up to 1%wt, enhanced significantly the mechanical behavior of the bonded joints. On the contrary, the addition of 4%wt graphene, degraded the behavior of the bonded joints, probably due to the poor dispersion of the nanoplatelets in the adhesive which led to agglomerations that served as defects
