This study aims to develop new smart barrier coatings for solar cells able to continuously adapt its protective action to the environmental changes. The work focuses on the development of active PET films following two different approaches: (a) dispersion of an active barrier phase by extruding commercial oxygen scavengers in polyester matrix and (b) synthesis of active organic-inorganic coating including oxygen scavengers subsequently applied on PET substrates.

Abstract
This study aims to develop new smart barrier coatings for solar cells able to continuously adapt its protective action to the environmental changes. The work focuses on the development of active PET films following two different approaches: (a) dispersion of an active barrier phase by extruding commercial oxygen scavengers in polyester matrix and (b) synthesis of active organic-inorganic coating including oxygen scavengers subsequently applied on PET substrates.File in questo prodotto:
