Fluctuation Spectroscopy is a very informative method to study the dynamic behavior of the charge carriers and the kinetic processes in condensed matter. Investigation of noise properties is a powerful technique, especially when complemented with standard transport measurements based on average quantities. Various materials have been tested, ranging from Mn oxides, to novel superconductors, to carbon nanotube composites. In all cases, the 1/f noise dependence on external parameters, such as temperature, bias current, and/or electric field, is usually characterized by non-standard properties.

Abstract
Fluctuation Spectroscopy is a very informative method to study the dynamic behavior of the charge carriers and the kinetic processes in condensed matter. Investigation of noise properties is a powerful technique, especially when complemented with standard transport measurements based on average quantities. Various materials have been tested, ranging from Mn oxides, to novel superconductors, to carbon nanotube composites. In all cases, the 1/f noise dependence on external parameters, such as temperature, bias current, and/or electric field, is usually characterized by non-standard properties.File in questo prodotto:
