In this eld of engineering it is possible to collocate the study of the tribological beha- viour of materials used in human joints, named “biotribolo- gy”. In the present work the authors discuss some results of experimental investigations with the aim to give to the reader an overview of tribological characteristics of some coupled materials used for total knee replacement (TKR).
