Sistema sindical italiano: a evolução que faltou ao Brasil

RESUMO Trata o presente trabalho da constatação da evolução distinta que tiveram os modelos sindicais brasileiro e italiano a longo do século XX. Partindo de um modelo bastante similar no período anterior à segunda guerra mundial, a Itália adotou um sistema sindical respeitador dos postulados de liberdade sindical plena. Mesmo com todas as dificuldades ocasionadas pela difícil adaptação das relações de trabalho, a Itália já ostenta mais de meio século de constantes mudanças buscando respeitar a liberdade sindical. O Brasil cedo ou tarde deverá adotar o mesmo sistema e parece que lhe será muito útil a inspiração oriunda do modelo italiano.

ABSTRACT This paper discusses the Italian trade union’s system and the finding about the distinct evolution of the Brazilian and Italian models. Despite both systems had a very similar model before the World War II, Italy has adopted a trade union’s system that respects the freedom in the collective labor relations. Even though the Italian adaptation was not easy they have been making changes for more than half a century searching to guarantee the freedom in the trade union’s system. Brazil will have to adopt a system that respects the freedom in collective labor relations and the Italian experience can be useful as inspiration for the necessary changes.
