This reflection aims to deepen and widen an avenue of work that has been open for a long time, concerning the possibility of identifying, classifying, and using “comparative Mediterranean body language.” The goal is to retrieve a common thread from words and gestures, a thread that would bring foreign people together, across the centuries, making them part of the same family: the Mediterranean family.
