This study focuses mainly on training conducted by a team of wheelchair basketball, taking into account the preseason training and racing in which are defined the objectives that the coach wants to achieve. The method used for this research is the study of the case. There are some important rules to follow to effectively implement this type of defense: 1. good communication among athletes; 2. never look at the ball; 3. keep a position ahead of his opponent than the basket At the end, this work showed that the team's objectives were fully achieved both athletic and technicalorganizational.
