This paper presents the main results of an empirical research, carried out under a K2 Erasmus Plus European project, lasting from September 2014 to December 2016, aimed at supporting the social inclusion of young inmates and preparing them to deal with the labor market. The research, through a mixed methods approach which consisted of a com-bined use of a structured questionnaire and a focus group, allowed to investigate the skills that young offenders could develop in order to fos-ter the social integration after their release.

Abstract
