The present study aimed to investigate the role of sport practice on physical self-description in in- dividuals with motor disability. Sport practice may contribute to develop a positive physical self- description in persons with disability. Sports practice seems to be able to contribute to the construction of a positive concept of one's own corporeality in people with disabilities, because the body, through its movement and its free expression, can rediscover itself, its energy, but above all it can stimulate creativity and allowing the subject to free himself, to open up to new spaces and new imaginations, overcoming, some- times, psycho-physical blocks. Good relationship with your body, with feelings and experiences, allows you to perceive a sense of integrity, the entirety of your body, perception of your space and volume, with the sense of exist, stay and have continuity in change.
