Abstract

The last decades have experienced the growth of new forms of art which, by further stretching the common notion of protectable subject matter, call for the adoption of new legal solutions and definitions. Urban knitting, graffiti and stencils are only few of the multiple innovative expressions that artists, in line with social evolution, are elaborating in their constant willingness of progress. Therefore, as for the advent of new technologies, also in this case, a regulation is required.
