In order to improve the output power of fuel cell in automobile under dynamic load and prolong its working life, it is necessary to understand the spatial inconsistency and sensitivity of its internal state. A simplified two-dimensional model of the proton exchange membrane fuel cell is established. The average and deviation values of internal states is calculated. The sensitivity of the internal states to the operating conditions of the fuel cell is analyzed. Results show that the sensitivity of different variables to operating conditions is different. The water vapor pressure is more sensitive. The temperature and voltage are the key factors of sensitivity analysis.

Abstract
In order to improve the output power of fuel cell in automobile under dynamic load and prolong its working life, it is necessary to understand the spatial inconsistency and sensitivity of its internal state. A simplified two-dimensional model of the proton exchange membrane fuel cell is established. The average and deviation values of internal states is calculated. The sensitivity of the internal states to the operating conditions of the fuel cell is analyzed. Results show that the sensitivity of different variables to operating conditions is different. The water vapor pressure is more sensitive. The temperature and voltage are the key factors of sensitivity analysis.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
