Through the analysis of a sample of notary registers of the 15th century, produced in the Campania region mainly during the government of the Aragonese rulers Alfonso the Magnanimous, Ferrante I and Federico, the activities and roles of some of those in charge of the documentation processes (in particular judges and notaries) who worked both as experts and in the ranks of the document production offices are examined. As for the notaries, there is no doubt that they, in addition to their private activity, still drew up the deeds of the universitas in the 15th century, systematically documented in their protocols; moreover, they could act within the curias of the royal officers stationed in the provincial territory.

Abstract
Through the analysis of a sample of notary registers of the 15th century, produced in the Campania region mainly during the government of the Aragonese rulers Alfonso the Magnanimous, Ferrante I and Federico, the activities and roles of some of those in charge of the documentation processes (in particular judges and notaries) who worked both as experts and in the ranks of the document production offices are examined. As for the notaries, there is no doubt that they, in addition to their private activity, still drew up the deeds of the universitas in the 15th century, systematically documented in their protocols; moreover, they could act within the curias of the royal officers stationed in the provincial territory.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
