The book is a tribute to Aurelio Musi, great protagonist of national and international historiography. Scholars of different generations - friends, colleagues and students - interact with his works, producing a book of refined historiographic reflection, which offers a stimulating plurality of themes and interpretations. History is investigated by Musi in its "reasons" - such as epistemological, methodological, linguistic specificities - and in the evolution of its "seasons". The contributions of this book return the cognitive and metacognitive value of history, through the multiple "ways" traced by its processes, its dynamics, its orientations.

Il volume è un omaggio ad Aurelio Musi, protagonista indiscusso della storiografia nazionale e internazionale. Studiosi di diverse generazioni – amici, colleghi e allievi – interagiscono con i lavori da lui prodotti, dando vita ad un’opera di raffinata riflessione storiografica, che offre una stimolante pluralità di temi e interpretazioni. La storia è indagata da Musi nelle sue “ragioni” – quali le specificità epistemologiche, metodologiche, linguistiche – e nell’evoluzione delle sue “stagioni”.
