This paper starts from a vision of the educational experience that “materializes” knowledge, making visible the relationship between body and mind, nature and culture. The aim is to open a preliminary reflection on the importance of the didactics corporealities and posture of the teacher in order to make the teaching and learning processes meaningful. Finally, we propose a necessary broadening of teachers’ competencies on the basis of this perspective aimed to focusing the attention on the ways in which the teacher puts into practice the representations he has of himself and his vision of knowledge and the world, the interaction in the relationship with learners, with the environment and with the various contexts.
