Abstract

Although the study of ceramic assemblages in area E clashes with the limits dictated by the continuous transformation features of the site, it has been possible to analyze some contexts, well stratigraphically identifiable, related to the late-republican phases of the area. These contexts show a good variety of materials, which are testimony not only to the breadth of the city’s network of business contacts but also to its complete participation in the diverse cultural congeries of the late-republican Tyrrhenian.
