In this paper we review dynamical mixing generation in a generic quantum field theoretical model with global symmetry. By purely algebraic means we analyze the vacuum structure for different patterns of symmetry breaking and show explicitly how the non-trivial flavour vacuum condensate characterizes dynamical mixing generation.
