A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW OF THE METHODOLOGICAL IMPLICATIONS IN SPORT SOCIAL RESEARCH AT THE TIME OF COVID-19

A systematic review of the methodological implications in sport social re- search at the time of Covid-19 The Covid-19 outbreak shook all human activities and halted the world of sport, stopping sporting events and competitions to follow strict regula- tions. Considering the impact on sport social research was experienced in real time, our review seeks to understand the methodological implications and problems of sociological research in studying the social phenomena of sport during Covid-19. We find digital research methods proved to be fundamental to the study of sport and sociology of sport during Covid-19, transforming digital methods into a more traditional method for sociologi- cal research.
