The present paper is a review of the state-of-the-art of removable link in eccentrically braced frames. Removable links constitute a fuse for dissipative eccentrically braced frames which can be easily replaced after a seismic event. Moreover, such links allow the recovering of the residual drift after a seismic event if they are coupled with an elastic system, i.e. ifthe seismic resistant system is dual (Dual-EBFs).

Abstract
