Abstract

This work describes how to design an Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) using data, obtained through human paths, traced and analyzed by a neural network. This design, to develop an ITS to be included in an Edugame, is driven by a need: the realization of an Avatar that performs realistic movements derived from human behaviors. In fact, Avatars often use operational research algorithms, to assemble their virtual movements, that sometimes produce, in these Avatars, mechanical and implausible actions. This new ITS movement system, extrapolated from real human data, will beembedded in an Edugame developed in collaboration with the National Archaeological Museum of Sannio Caudino.
