In this paper I want to make known the existence of a seventeenth-century actor’s part that reproduces the interventions of one of the main characters of an early play by Calderón, Amor, honor y poder. After some initial reflections on the importance of actor’s parts in order to deepen our knowledge of the mechanisms of staging in the Golden Age, I offer the transcription and analysis of the document, which was used as a flyleaf in the binding of a manuscript currently preserved in the National Library of Spain.

Abstract
In this paper I want to make known the existence of a seventeenth-century actor’s part that reproduces the interventions of one of the main characters of an early play by Calderón, Amor, honor y poder. After some initial reflections on the importance of actor’s parts in order to deepen our knowledge of the mechanisms of staging in the Golden Age, I offer the transcription and analysis of the document, which was used as a flyleaf in the binding of a manuscript currently preserved in the National Library of Spain.File in questo prodotto:
