The suffering of colonized peoples is always expressed through language. For a writer who has lived the submission of his territory, of his people, of himself it is only through his way of expressing himself that he is able to spread his thought, but also his deepest feelings. Thus, war and occupation are sources of literary and linguistic creation. In this regard, the West Indian writer Patrick Chamoiseau creatively expresses all the suffering of war, which is also - and above all - a war of souls, an intimate pain, a sort of byss of intimate conflicts. Our goal is to illustrate the linguistic variety of Chamoiseau’s literary creation from his works Texaco, Solibo magnifique and Écrire en pays dominé. He tackles the question of writing and even the situation of the writer – even of himself – in a situation of submission to the territory, but also of physical and mental annihilation. Our research aims to consider the linguistic newness – especially lexical – of the Chamois narrative that expresses its relevance in the fusion of existing words, in the process of suffixation and in the mechanism of merging words belonging to different grammatical categories. Even in this case, we can see that human suffering gives rise to an infinity of linguistic combinations which, instead of annihilating the invaded people, gives them strength and power in the evocation of their identity and their language which is, at the same time, the primary vehicle of this identity.
