The agri-food and agricultural sectors are characterized by a strong fragmentation of production processes, with a high presence of micro and small enterprises, self-employed, temporary work, a high incidence of migrant workers, worrying shares of black and gray work and phenomena of illegality, particularly in some territorial areas. The protection of health and safety at work in these contexts involves constant challenges for the functioning of preven- tion systems and for trade union action. The article presents the results of a research conducted by the Giuseppe Di Vittorio Foundation in collaboration with Flai-Cgil (Federation of Agroindustry Workers) on the role of Work- ers’ Representatives for Safety (Rls) and Territorial Representatives (Rlst) in the agroindustry. The research was conducted through three case studies, focused on understanding the role of the Workers’ Safety Representative at territorial, site and company level. The analysis shows that to combat the fragmentation of work and guarantee the right to the protection of health and safety, it is necessary to promote a re-composition of the prevention systems.

Abstract
The analysis shows that to combat the fragmentation of work and guarantee the right to the protection of health and safety, it is necessary to promote a re-composition of the prevention systems.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
