The aim of this work is the evaluation of the overstrength factor of short links of eccentrically braced frames. Starting from the experimental tests provided by the scientific literature, after the collection and the cataloging of experimental data, the author identified the main geometrical and mechanical parameters influencing the overstrength of links. Finally, the empirical regression to predict the ultimate resistance of links are provided as functions of the above-mentioned parameters.
