Il codice penale non fornisce la nozione di effetti penali né indica il criterio generale che valga a distinguerli da tutta quella serie di conseguenze e situazioni anche processuali, per indicare le quali si ricorre egualmente al termine “effetti”. Il presente lavoro intende ripercorrere le vicende connesse all’esito della messa alla prova evidenziandone e di stinguendone gli “effetti”.
