This paper focuses on an unpublished study of black-gloss ware from the Manganello Sanctuary of Cerveteri (RM). The main aim of this ongoing research is to create increased knowledge of this class of ceramics, in order to generate new data concerning the study of its production in the context of sacred areas, as well as to investigate the production of cerite black-gloss ware, its circulation and the economic processes associated with it. This contribution will outline the preliminary results related to the morphological and decorative analysis of the pottery, and will be accompanied by comparisons with pieces from the surrounding sacred areas and locally produced ceramics from South Etruria.
