In this study it is highlighted that in addition to the date of 1732 (date of birth in the post-Tridentine Catholic religious world of the "Congregation of Missionary Priests of the Most Holy Savior", later called "Holy Redeemer"), 1779 is the date of recognition of the legal system of the Redemptorist Order by the Bourbon monarchy in an institutional sense. Its evolution embraces the most relevant political issues and economic and social aspects of the first and second Italian nineteenth century and beyond.
