Abstract
Referring to the constellation of digital styles, forms and practices associated with audiovisual media, Simone Arcagni in his book Visioni Digitali uses the term ‘post-cinema’ to emphasise the overcoming of what was ‘cinema’ in the 20th century. In today’s digital context, it becomes crucial to reinvent the audiovisual sector and make it extremely attractive to new audiences. Among the invaded worlds, one emerges that might have seemed, until recently, impregnable: the political sphere. The work focuses on the European landscape and starts by exploring the new ways in which political leaders have made use of platforms that have de facto dematerialised the body. In short, we are faced with a complex and varied ‘post-film’ digital world that is rewriting narratives and modes of participation, at the total mercy of what is defined as: permanent electoral campaigning.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
