This study explores how stakeholder participation models, environmental decisions, and financial performance align in Italian businesses, distinguishing between local and not-local enterprises. By analysing the relationship between stakeholder participation model and environmental choices, this research investigates their impact on financial performance, considering variations between local and not-local enterprises. Utilizing a sample of Italian firms, the research employs a two-step empirical strategy. Firstly, it employs Coincidence Analysis to explore the relationships between stakeholder configurational models and enterprises' environmental strategies for both local and not-local enterprises. Secondly, it investigates how stakeholder participation models and environmental activities impact the financial performances of these enterprises. This work contributes to existing literature by extending power theories related to resource dependency and examining their influence on sustainability-driven corporate strategies concerning primary and secondary stakeholders. Additionally, it provides insights into stakeholder participation models by discerning the influence of environmental decisions on the strategies employed by local versus not-local businesses.

Abstract
Additionally, it provides insights into stakeholder participation models by discerning the influence of environmental decisions on the strategies employed by local versus not-local businesses.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
