In this paper I present a description and analysis of all the autograph dramatis personae of dramatic texts by Lope de Vega (forty one plays and two autos sacramentales). The aim is to deepen our knowledge of this section of the manuscripts (what information is provided and what conclusions can be drawn regarding the process of composition of the dramatis personae).
