In recent years, the spread of Artificial Intelligence and robotics has radically transformed the technological landscape, influencing various sectors. In this article, we explore the adoption of new technologies in the context of kinesiology, with particular attention to its uses for rehabilitative and preventive purposes. Through an analysis conducted through interviews, we aim to explore people's perceptions and propensity to adopt Artificial Intelligence and social robots in the kinesiological context. The focus of the survey is on understanding patients' expectations, concerns, and perspectives regarding the integration of Artificial Intelligence and robotics for posture monitoring and assessment. We also conducted a focus group with 8 people to discuss the topic. Finally, we present a system idea involving an EMG sensor for data collection during a therapy exercise and a social robot for emotion detection. The combination of the data collected by these two tools can provide an overview of evaluating a person's posture.
