SALERNUM - Biblioteca digitale salernitana is the digital library of the University of Salerno. It is a repository of documents and texts which have Salerno as common subject or place of production. With SALERNUM the library of the University of Salerno intends to make accessible and preserve significant documents, improve users research and increase the value of historical collections. The paper will discuss the possible implementation of the digital library adding a new section including single articles from the most important historical journals which have Salerno as subject.
