In this paper we principally deepen into the influence of the boundary conditions on the heat-flux behavior in the case of thin nano-wires. We carry out such an analysis by comparing two theoretical models, one only emphasizing the role played by the non-local effects, and the other only accounting for the influence of the non-linear effects. All the results obtained in the present paper are analyzed in view of the second law of thermodynamics as well.

Abstract
In this paper we principally deepen into the influence of the boundary conditions on the heat-flux behavior in the case of thin nano-wires. We carry out such an analysis by comparing two theoretical models, one only emphasizing the role played by the non-local effects, and the other only accounting for the influence of the non-linear effects. All the results obtained in the present paper are analyzed in view of the second law of thermodynamics as well.File in questo prodotto:
