Canonicità riflessiva. In difesa della sociologia classica

At a time when there is a certain hostility towards the classical sociological canon, the article, while accepting the criticisms that come from various quarters, argues theses in its defense, however thoughtful. The argument supported is that renewal is possible in only one way: by adopting an approach of “reflexive canonicity”, which obeys the principles of canonicity, but at the same time deconstructs them without destroying them.

In un momento in cui forte è una certa ostilità nei confronti del canone sociologico classico, l’articolo, pur accettandone le critiche che giungono da varie parti, argomenta tesi in sua difesa, per quanto meditate. L’argomento sostenuto è che il rinnovamento è possibile solo in un modo: adottando un approccio da “canonicità riflessiva”, che obbedisce ai principi della canonicità, ma che al contempo li decostruisce senza abbatterli.
